I don't think existence wants you to be serious.
I have not seen a serious tree.
I have not seen a serious bird.
I have not seen a serious sunrise.
I have not seen a serious starry night.
It seems they are all laughing in their own ways, dancing in their own ways.
We may not understand it, but there is a subtle feeling that the whole existence is a celebration.

This mesmerizing lady is called a Spanish dancer Nudibranch 💃

I found her in a dried-up rock pool, gently cradled her in my hands, and swam her around to get some flow back into those beautiful external lungs on her back. Slowly, she came to life, and this is how she thanked me ✨️

I wrote this poem at 2am this morning after waking from a dream, my knees were in the air. I can't remember the dream but these words spilled out of me 🖋
And i realised I've been trying to write this poem for years.

I sent it to my Mum this morning and her reply, word for word ~

"Beautiful poem Brooke, I happen to be visiting dad at the cemetery right now ❤️❤️" You should post that on the family group on the anniversary of dads passing ❤️"

I honestly had no idea, iam baffled.
You can't make this stuff up 🦋🕊✨️

And if the only reward
for racing through life,
is death,
then may I forever savor
the long way around;
languidly stretching myself
across every detour & backroad,
for if the destination is all the same,
at least may the journey
be a slow and scenic one.
